Parish Outreach

Parish Outreach is a Christ-centered ministry that serves low-income & needy families from our local community and also, the greater WNY and global communities. We provide for the material needs of our families when assisting them, but more importantly, we encourage our families to feel the presence of God’s love in their lives. St. Vincent de Paul

Since the society’s formation in 1847, we are a catholic lay organization whose members seek to grow spiritually by offering assistance to the poor, the suffering, and the forgotten. We operate a dining room at 1298 Main St. in Buffalo (that is currently doing take out meals because of the pandemic) but we normally serve more than 70,000 meals each year at no cost to the people. Since 1930, Vincent’s Discount Store, also located at 1298 Main St has been answering the needs of the poor by providing clothing and household items at little or no cost. Our organization here at St. Christopher’s was able to help over 50 families this year with the necessities of life. St. Vincent DePaul at St. Christopher is always looking for new people to help us, help the poor. We meet monthly in Room 102 at St. Edmund’s at 1:30pm.
