Build Yourself An Ark

Build Yourself an Ark is a parish Bible Study for men and women. To accommodate the varying schedules of attendees, we offer two meeting times: Session 1 begins on September 11, for the Monday class (7-8pm), and September 12 for the Tuesday class (10-11am). A complete schedule for both groups will be distributed at the first meeting. All classes are held in Room 102, St. Edmund Campus, 550 Ellicott Creek Rd. Please enter through the front doors.

In our time together, we have come to value and honor the role of God’s Word in our lives. An additional blessing is that we, who were once mostly strangers, are now friends — a real community of love!

You are cordially invited to join us in experiencing practical ways to learn about and apply the Holy Scriptures to our daily lives. There is no “homework.” There are no books to buy. Just bring your Bible, a pen and notebook, coffee or another beverage. Better yet, bring a friend - all are welcome. Our goal is to relax and enjoy being together as we explore the scriptures and learn of God’s love.

St. Christopher Caring Clowns

We are the Caring Clowns of St. Christopher Parish. Our ministry has a two-fold mission:

1. We perform inspirational skits to proclaim the gospel message for those in sacramental preparation programs as well as mission/retreat groups using the art of clowning.

2. We visit nursing homes and perform an hour of interactive "play" designed to amuse and entertain the residents. We also leave them with small token gifts as reminders to keep them smiling and finding joy in the love of Jesus.

Please note that our skits are not funny slapstick comedy as you might expect from clowns. Your audience should expect to be inspired by God's message and to see the heart of the caring clown.

We do not charge a fee for our performances but we do accept a donation that is then used to support our ministry, paying for some of our supplies and small giveaways for nursing home residents and students.

Contact the office if you are interested in learning more about the Caring Clowns' inspirational skits.
